Job Title: Storage and Backup Solutions Specialist

The Storage and Backup Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring data availability, integrity, and recoverability across all systems. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise storage and backup solutions to support business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.

  • Designing, implementing, and managing Veritas NetBackup 11 solutions.
  • Administering and troubleshooting IBM FlashSystem 7300 (FS7300) and IBM SVC environments.
  • Managing and optimizing NetApp C Series storage arrays, including provisioning, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Implementing and maintaining data replication strategies using IBM replication technologies and NetApp.
  • Administering and troubleshooting NetBackup FlexScale and NetBackup Flex Appliances.
  • Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Brocade SAN switches.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Storage Administrator.
  • Strong expertise in IBM Storage: IBM FlashSystem 7300 (FS7300) and IBM SVC.
  • Strong expertise in NetApp Storage: NetApp C Series and SnapMirror replication.
  • Strong expertise in Veritas NetBackup 11: Including NetBackup FlexScale and NetBackup Flex Appliances.
  • Strong knowledge of IBM replication technologies.
  • Proven experience with Brocade SAN switches: Including ISL configuration and switch replacement procedures.
  • Solid understanding of Fibre Channel protocols, zoning, and multipathing.
  • Experience with performance analysis and tuning of storage systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
