Senior Academic Position in Anatomy

The Department of Anatomy is seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic leader to assume the role of Senior Professor. The successful candidate will provide exceptional leadership in teaching, research, and clinical skills training.

Job Description:
  • Provide academic leadership in teaching and research, ensuring high-quality instruction and innovative research initiatives.
  • Develop and implement curricula that align with institutional and professional standards.
  • Supervise postgraduate students and guide them in their research endeavors.
  • Collaborate with other departments on interdisciplinary research projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • 8+ Years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per NMC / MCI norms.
  • Strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals.
  • Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching: Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy for MBBS, BDS, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences students.
  • Research & Publications: Conduct and supervise original research projects in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications.
  • Clinical Skills & Simulation: Oversee Clinical Skills & Simulation Lab (if applicable).
  • Administrative & Leadership: Serve as Head/Coordinator of the Department (if designated).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • 8+ Years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per NMC / MCI norms.
  • Strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals.
  • Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies preferred.
