Job Title: Hazardous Area Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee process safety on offshore production facilities, high pressure gas processing systems and oil/water/gas separation facilities.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing process deliverables for conceptual, FEED, and EPC projects, ensuring safe processes are designed and implemented for various production systems.
  • Key responsibilities include preparing hazardous area classification schedules and drawings, reviewing and providing guidance for preparation of all discipline engineering and design deliverables including P&ID, datasheets.
  • Able to size flare network and its report using standard tools like Hysys, FlareNet etc.
  • Must have competent knowledge in issues of FPSO offshore production facilities, high pressure gas processing systems and oil/water/gas separation facilities.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in process safety on floating production systems, LPG and LNG Storage and Treatment, BOP.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to process safety.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement process safety strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment studies to identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation measures.
  3. Design and implement control measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  5. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as necessary.
