SAP FICO/R2R Expert

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO/R2R specialist to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP FICO R2R processes. This role requires expertise in configuring SAP FICO modules, handling month-end/year-end closing activities, and working closely with business stakeholders to deliver functional solutions that meet their needs.

  • Configure SAP FICO modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
  • Handle month-end/year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting with strong attention to detail.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver functional solutions that meet their needs.
  • Integrate FICO with other SAP modules like Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Project Systems (PS).
  • Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and ensure they are well-documented.
  • Support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations, maintaining a high level of integrity.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and documentation for end-users, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their tasks efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP FICO with a focus on R2R process, with a proven track record of success.
  • Hands-on configuration experience in GL, AA, Financial Reporting, and Closing, with a deep understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • Experience in New GL, Document Splitting, and Parallel Ledger is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to write and validate functional specifications, with excellent communication skills.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is a plus, but not essential.
