System Infrastructure Specialist Job Description

Beam seeks a highly skilled System Administrator to join its global team. This professional will ensure the stability, security, performance, and scalability of our technological infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage servers (Linux, Windows, cloud, on-premise) for optimal efficiency.
  • Administer environments in AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, focusing on scalability and high availability.
  • Implement, maintain, and monitor security systems, backups, disaster recovery, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS.
  • Automate administration processes using scripts, CI/CD, pipelines, promoting operational efficiency.
  • Monitor networks, firewalls, VPNs, traffic for connectivity and security.
  • Conduct periodic audits on performance, security, and compliance.
  • Integrate and maintain monitoring solutions, e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix.
  • Collaborate with development, support, security teams to optimize operations.
  • Manage access, permissions, authentication policies, including IAM, MFA, Zero Trust.
  • Document configurations, processes, best practices.
  • Provide 2nd, 3rd level support in critical incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or similar (not mandatory if experience proven).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a SysAdmin or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian) and Windows Server.
  • Experience with containers, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid knowledge of networks, protocols, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
  • Experience in automation scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Knowledge of system security, compliance.
  • Fluent English (written, spoken).
