Job Overview

The Asset Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing an asset management framework that aligns with international standards.

This specialist leads cross-functional teams, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and ensures the asset management system supports long-term value creation and risk mitigation.

  • Develops and implements policies, procedures, and documentation required for certification.
  • Manages the certification process, including liaison with external auditors and certification bodies.
  • Monitors asset performance, lifecycle costs, and risk, promoting continuous improvement and value optimization.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering and registration or eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia and/or Ontario. They should have at least 5 years of experience in infrastructure operations and maintenance or a related field, such as business process transformation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of an ISO-compliant asset management system.
  • Delivering strategic asset management program transformation projects for clients.
  • Supporting practice and business development activities, participating in bid development and drafting.

Requirements include a current driver's license and the ability to provide technical assurance, produce high-quality written deliverables, and present compelling outcomes to teams.
