Job Title: Cost Management Specialist

A Cost Management Specialist in construction oversees the financial aspects of projects. They are responsible for cost estimation, budget control, and contract administration.

About the Role:
  • Study of Project scope in-line with design requirements.
  • Validation of Technical specifications received from Design team.
  • Optimization of Specifications without any deviation in Client requirement deliveries.
  • Validation of BOQs and backup workings.

The successful candidate will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Presentation of BOQs and solutions to senior management for approval.
  • Review of RA bills and final invoices.
  • Preparation of amendments and revisions.
  • Validation of budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrix.
  • Submission of alternative budget options considering different solutions to actual design.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a thorough understanding of systems and construction processes, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in relevant software.

They will also be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying.
  • Experience in the luxury real estate industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of systems and construction processes.
