Job Title: Kubernetes Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Engineer to join our team at Winning Edge. As a key member of our platform engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure Kubernetes platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Kubernetes platforms for our cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and knowledge sharing
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs to ensure optimal user experience
  • Maintain existing clusters and ensure continuous updates and code quality
  • Work in an Agile environment to deliver customer value with regular cadence

Requirements and Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience in industry performing Kubernetes Platform Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of container technology platforms such as Red Hat, OpenShift, Azure Kubernetes, and AWS EKS
  • 4-year degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar field
  • Understanding of Firewall, Load Balancer, and Network integration
  • Experience working with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps development methodologies
  • Automate container infrastructure hosted on Cloud
  • Experience with Service mesh Administration on Kubernetes platform and hands-on with mesh capabilities
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Grafana
  • Experience with configuration management systems such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience working with continuous integration/continuous deployment tools (e.g. GitHub Actions)
  • Develop custom tools as needed to support process optimization
  • Experience with GO lang and Python
  • Practical experience with AWS, particularly services like AWS CDK, EC2, IAM, VPC, CFT, and Lambda
  • Understanding of IT life cycle methodology and processes

Additional Skills/Preferences:

  • Previous Pharmaceutical IT experience would be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
