Job Summary

Mouri Tech Ltd seeks a highly skilled Senior Kubernetes Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing containerization platforms, including OpenShift and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement configuration management, automation, and orchestration tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
  • Build, manage, and maintain containerization platforms, including OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Develop strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and some Windows.
  • Experience with VMware virtualization and cloud deployments in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
  • Strong scripting background in Bash or Python is a plus.
  • Utilize version control tools like Git along with a strong understanding of merging and branching code.
  • Experience working in GitLab and creating monitoring dashboards using Dynatrace or Openshift or similar.
  • Familiarity with setting up event monitoring and alerting in Prometheus, Solarwinds, or similar.
  • Observability and Monitoring: Utilizing observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and related technologies to ensure effective monitoring of the OpenShift environment.
  • Configuration Management: Configuring OpenShift namespaces, network policies, resource quotas, and node selectors.
  • Kubernetes Operations: Managing the life cycle of Kubernetes operators, custom resource configuration, and upgrades.
  • Cloud and Virtual Technologies: Deploying and managing applications on PaaS, managing container image repositories, and deploying OpenShift Container Platform in public and private clouds.
  • DevOps Tools: Terraform and Ansible for provisioning resources. Well-versed in writing pipeline or maintain CI/CD pipelines to manage infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with GITOPS and knowledge of Cloud Bees/Jenkins Pipelines.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and methodologies.
