Bioproduction Process Specialist

**About the Role:
The Technical Sales Specialist for Pharma Analytics is a vital position within our organization. This individual will be responsible for driving sales within an assigned territory, handling current business relationships, developing new opportunities, and increasing sales and profitability through expertise in product knowledge and market intelligence.
This TSS will work closely with Bioproduction Account Managers to develop and lead account growth strategies, and will be expected to stay ahead of market intelligence, including trends, competitors, and key account developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive new business to ensure target customers are aware of PharmaAnalytics product offerings and champion its value proposition in the market.
- Drive existing funnel of opportunities to accelerate closure rates.
- Engage with biopharma/vaccine accounts as a PharmaAnalytics representative for pre-sales tasks, including introducing PA solutions, coordinating with Field Application Scientists for product demonstrations, and facilitating customer evaluation and adoption of PA solutions in their workflow.
- Collaborate with Bioproduction Account Managers to develop and lead account growth strategies.
- Develop a territory plan and work independently on daily activities to meet annual objectives.
- Manage entry process, including technical meetings and new evaluation records.
- Stay ahead of market intelligence, including trends, competitors, and key account developments.
- Collaborate with Regional Marketing Management and regional/local Field Application Scientists to implement training programs and workshops.
- Identify and implement best sales practices within assigned territories.
- Establish and build links with key decision-makers and identify technical buyers.
- Initiate product evaluations as part of the sales process, coordinating activities between the BAM and FAS. Responsible for service-related to product sampling.
- Act as a trusted advisor for key contacts within an account and bring in technical guides as needed to advance the solution process.
- FOLLOW UP ON ALL PRODUCT PERFORMANCE COMPLAINTS OR INQUIRIES AND COORDINATE WITH COLLABORATORS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES/REGIONS/BUSINESS UNITS TO ENSURE TIMELY RESOLUTION.
- Keep up-to-date technical knowledge on assigned product lines, company literature, and driven products.
- Foster the voice of the customer.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Biotechnology or a related field or equivalent experience, with specialization in molecular biology techniques such as qPCR / RT-PCR, Sanger Sequencing, NGS, and process analytics.
- Strong understanding of downstream process analytics and quality control workflows in bioproduction processes.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, proficient in value selling techniques, and the ability to sell up into organizations.
- Able to work independently with limited day-to-day management supervision.
- Requires a minimum of 6+ years of sales experience working in a role related to the bioproduction process specifically targeting molecular biology like qPCR-based techniques.
- Must possess a strong understanding of customer challenges and solution development.
- Must demonstrate previous success in a customer-facing role.
