Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing monthly reports, evaluating financial performance, and analyzing past results.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3-12 years of working experience in financial planning & analysis and accounting role. They must have some experience in independent end-to-end month-end closing and reporting.

A strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and data mining is required. The candidate must also have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience with PeopleSoft is preferred.

Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry can be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly reports including key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial/management reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information from various sub-systems

Requirements:

  • At least 3-12 years of working experience in financial planning & analysis and accounting role
  • Experience in independent end-to-end month-end closing and reporting
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and data mining
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred
