Job Description

As a seasoned procurement expert, you will lead the development of category strategy, negotiate with vendors, and monitor supply market dynamics to ensure strategic procurement objectives are met consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement global supplier relationship strategies, leveraging knowledge of supply market landscape and dynamics.
  • Supply Market Insight: Use business insights to leverage opportunities and drive annual performance improvements via strategy work and applicable metrics.
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with raw material suppliers, ensuring procurement of high-quality materials, optimized procurement cost, and timely deliveries.
  • Tracking and Control: Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring maximize positive Procurement Price Variance to manage spend for raw material procurement across EPD.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strategic Thinking: Forecast price trends, industry trends of direct materials, conduct predictive analysis, and devise long-term and short-term procurement strategy in alignment with the larger EPD strategy.
  • Communication: Facilitate identification of supply chain risks associated with cost, supply, quality, etc., by analysis of market trends, regulatory changes, etc.
  • Leadership: Develop a high-performance team by continuous monitoring and provision of guidance to develop an efficient RM procurement function.
