System Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced system developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and extensive experience in IBM iSeries system development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems using IBM iSeries technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications using IBM iSeries RPGLE, CLLE programming, and ILE (Integrated Language Environment)
  • Optimize DB2 for iSeries databases using SQL optimization techniques and stored procedures
  • Configure and manage iSeries operating systems (OS/400) and system tools
  • Integrate iSeries systems with other technologies using API, MQ, XML, and FTP protocols
  • Implement agile software development methodology and DevSecOps practices using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and Ansible

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IBM iSeries system development

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Java and Python programming languages for hybrid application development
  • Effective English communication and writing skills
