Team Lead Role

The role of Team Lead involves overseeing shift operations at our Delivery Centers and supporting the DC Manager in performance management and driving operational plans.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Training: Delivering training and coaching on Amazon processes, products, and operating models to associates.
  • Work on the ground to enable network with new product launches and partner with the operations and other teams.
  • Reporting: Maintaining and publishing routine reporting on current performance and business data, providing recommendations and action plans.
  • Team Management: Building and managing a multi-layer team, managing performance through on-the-job coaching and mentoring, driving associates to manage their targets.
  • Set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage relationships with associates.
  • Work with process associates and station teams to improve operational aspects of their business, providing a great delivery experience and enhancing efficiency.
  • Handling day-to-day operational escalations and being available round the clock to manage issues.
  • Internal/External Stakeholder Management.
  • Supporting station operations and/or customer deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership capabilities and people management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure situations.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Good communication skills. Ability to communicate and explain to individuals and the team what needs to be achieved for the Delivery Center/America to achieve its objectives. Listening skills: Gains input and commitment from all involved in delivering their specific part.
  • Strong bias for great customer service. Engage the team in developing their understanding of Customer Experience and knowledge of what Customers actually need/expect.
  • High ownership: Follows through to ensure the delivery of changes/solutions/services that fulfill the Customer's needs.
  • Analytical Skills: Effectively analyze and interpret information, identifying and validating the key facts, including reviewing alternatives to determine advantages and associated risks.

Education includes Bachelor's degree; fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking); Microsoft Office products and applications experience; MBA
