Job Description

The role of a Scrum Master in an infrastructure team requires deep expertise in program management to lead agile delivery of global enterprise IT infrastructure and security projects. This involves a blend of program management skills and technical understanding of infrastructure domains including cloud platforms, network systems, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities include facilitating all Scrum ceremonies for multiple infrastructure teams, removing impediments and blockers that impact team velocity and program delivery, fostering continuous improvement culture through retrospectives and process optimization, and guiding teams through scaling frameworks for large infrastructure initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required. Advanced Scrum Master certification (CSP-SM, PSM II/III) is preferred, as well as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification (SPC, RTE, or SA). Program Management Professional (PgMP) or equivalent program management certification is also preferred. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field is necessary.

Experience Requirements

5+ years of Scrum Master experience with at least 3 years in infrastructure or platform teams is required. 3+ years of program management experience leading complex, multi-team initiatives is also necessary. Proven track record managing infrastructure programs involving cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise applications is expected. Experience with infrastructure technologies, IT Service Management (ITIL), and DevOps practices is highly valued.
