Financial Accountant Job Description

\

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's financial accounting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to management. This includes closure and preparation of monthly financial statements, including statutory audits, and proactive measures to avoid audit issues.

\

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of accounting guidelines and standards, CARO, and related regulations. They will also possess effective people managerial skills, teamwork, and collaboration abilities.

  • Manage financial accounting for the B2C segment, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to management.\
  • Closure and preparation of monthly financial statements, including statutory audits, and proactive measures to avoid audit issues.\
  • Preparation of business segment disclosures on a periodic basis and ensure correct internal reporting to management.\
  • Develop and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and laws.\
  • Chartered Accountant with 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.\
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, commercial acumen, and cross-functional appreciation.\
  • Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve goals.\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.\
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.\
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.\
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant software applications.\
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.\
