Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance leader to manage our QA team and drive quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business System Analysts, Developers, Project/Deliver Management Teams, and Product Managers to ensure seamless execution.
  • This role involves embedding the QA team early on in projects to work closely with the BSA team during data discovery to build well-executed use cases.
  • The successful candidate will provide feedback to the team on product quality, identify risks/issues, and balance quality with time-bound delivery from a release perspective.
  • They will be responsible for documenting and maintaining manual as well as automated test results.
  • A strong understanding of the product domain, vision, roadmap, and team goals is essential for this role.
  • The candidate will identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
  • Designing and developing robust automation frameworks and managing the execution of automated and manual tests are key responsibilities.
  • Establishing and evolving formal QA processes, ensuring best practices are used by the team, is also critical.
  • Maintaining detailed testing documentation related to software or systems is another key aspect.
  • Leveraging new technologies like AI to expand testing accuracy and velocity on projects will be a valuable asset.
  • Implementation, monitoring, and reporting on QA KPIs are also essential responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience overseeing at least 5 direct reports.
  • Strong coaching and development skills to support team members' career growth.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing, design, and development of automation frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Desirable Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Robot, Selenium, TestRail, Python with PyCharm IDE.
  • ETL - Strong understanding of transforming complex data sets and working with various data types.
  • Database - Hands-on experience with Snowflake, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and NOSQL DB methodologies.
  • Programming Languages - Knowledge of PLSQL, JavaScript, Python, and AWS services such as S3.
  • Experience with MarTech including email, SMS, CDM, and AI Agents for data observability and governance.
  • Jira for Bug and Time tracking.
