Business Intelligence Solutions Architect



Job Description

The Business Intelligence Solutions Architect is responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of business intelligence solutions to drive data-driven decision-making.

This role requires a strong understanding of Qlik Sense platform administration and architecture on an enterprise scale. The successful candidate will have experience in implementing technology solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.

Key responsibilities include installing and configuring Qlik Sense servers and components, managing user access, licenses, and permissions, and monitoring system resource usage to ensure high availability and scalability.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in business intelligence solutions
  • Experience with Qlik Sense reporting suite administration
  • Knowledgeable about ETL tool administration (optional)
  • Basic understanding of SQL
  • Security implementation, backup, data recovery, and service restoration management
  • Patch and bug fix deployment
  • Windows, Linux, and Cloud operating systems administration

Education Experience and Skills Required:
1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field AND a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
2. Outstanding academics
3. Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions.
4. Knowledgeable about the Qlik Platform administration and architecture on an enterprise scale
5. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to drive projects to an effective and timely completion.
6. Experience with Qlik Sense reporting suite administration.
7. Experience with any ETL tool administration would be a plus.
8. Basic idea of SQL would be good.
9. Security implementation, Backup, data recovery and service restoration management, patch and bug fix deployment
10. Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux and Cloud operating systems administration
11. Troubleshoot issues, both from a development as well as a performance standpoint
12. Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting.
