About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead test automation initiatives and enhance QA team productivity.

The ideal candidate will design frameworks and tools for automating test case generation, documentation, and execution across web, mobile, and API layers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and own test strategy, estimation, and planning for feature development.
  • Architect and build automation platforms and frameworks enabling scalable, reusable, and maintainable test execution.
  • Develop tools for automating test case documentation and code generation, improving QA productivity.
  • Create detailed, well-structured test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation across:

Technology Stack:

  • Web: Cypress/Playwright
  • Mobile: Appium
  • APIs: RestAssured, Pytest, Postman/Newman
Requirements
  • 4–6 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.
  • Proven experience in building test automation frameworks and platforms (web, mobile, API).
  • Strong experience in API automation (RestAssured, Pytest, Postman).
  • Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Prior experience mentoring/managing junior engineers in QA/automation.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
  • B Tech/M Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Programming expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript for advanced automation scripting.
  • Hands-on expertise with Cypress/Playwright and Appium.
  • Domain expertise in Ecommerce and Health Tech.
  • Experience building self-service QA platforms for test case generation, documentation, or execution.
  • Experience with performance testing tools.
  • Knowledge of security testing practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud infra for QA environments.
  • Strong advocate of shift-left testing and developer productivity improvements.
