Job Description

About the Role

This is a managerial and support role responsible for managing large numbers of subject experts, working closely with other managers as per project requirements.

Years of Experience :: 10 to 20

Responsibilities

  • Developing high-quality questions for assessments.
  • Structuring and designing question banks; setting quality standards for writing and review in respective domains.
  • Tracking inventory and maintaining optimal levels of item availability in assigned non-STEM domains/subjects.
  • Managing subject matter expert (SME) pools in different domains/subjects.
  • Defining selection criteria and strategies.
  • Monitoring SME performance quality.
  • Training and developing SMEs.
  • Extensive coordination with SMEs for all test development activities.
  • Designing tests in subjects of expertise and coordinating with SMEs to finalize test designs in other domains/subjects.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to fulfill requirements for test items and question sets.
  • Supporting lead managers in delivering projects and other requirements as per organizational needs.
  • Post-exam analysis, reporting to higher management.

Qualifications

  • Subject competency in school subjects up to 12th level as per NCERT syllabus.
  • Broader understanding of the education system of the country and NCERT/CBSE/Boards.
  • Experience working in the education sector related to assessment and evaluation - test designs/blueprints, question development.
  • Good command over English, both written and spoken.
  • Good command over spoken Hindi.
