Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Senior Manager to lead our project EHS initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our Integrated Management System (IMS) across all L&T Civil Infrastructure BU operations and projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective EHS strategies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize risks to employees, contractors, and the environment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams on EHS matters, including training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of EHS performance, including incident reports, risk assessments, and audit results.
  • Collaborate with business units and projects to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address these issues.
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to L&T's EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with EHS standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project managers, business unit heads, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective EHS management systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven individual.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between ₹1,200,000 and ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
