Electrical and Instrumentation Manager Job Description

The Electrical and Instrumentation Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems. This includes ensuring that all equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and repaired in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering
  • 10-12 years of experience in maintenance of plant equipment
  • Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Additional Skills and Abilities Required

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and carry out shut down maintenance jobs
  • Support in controlling maintenance cost, analyzing breakdown, preparing CAPA, diagnosing, identifying root cause, and implementing actions
  • Coordinate with external vendors and other departments and sustain teamwork
  • Carry out cost estimate for equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement

Equipment Support

  • Install, commission, and validate new equipment
  • Sizing and selection of proper instruments
  • Telephone EPBX programming, configuration, CCTV configuration
