Job Title: Chief Financial Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned and skilled financial leader to spearhead our finance functions for banquet and catering businesses in India. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership of finance functions, ensuring compliance, profitability, and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial planning for banquet and catering operations.
  • Account Management: Lead and manage accounts, payables/receivables, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.
  • Financial Analysis: Review and analyze P&L, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banquet and catering projects.
  • Compliance: Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulations; coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Process Improvement: Implement financial best practices, controls, and ERP systems tailored to banqueting/catering.
  • Collaboration: Partner with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and control expenses.
  • Decision Support: Support leadership in decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise the finance team; drive a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor contracts, payment cycles, and timely disbursements to suppliers and service partners.
  • Cost Control: Conduct variance analysis, highlight cost-saving opportunities, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Education: CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent, with experience in hospitality/banqueting/catering.
  • Experience: Minimum 8–12 years of overall finance experience, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong expertise in budgeting, compliance, MIS, financial modeling, event/catering cost controls.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or hospitality ERP systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Integrity: High integrity and process orientation; experience in audit and statutory reporting.
