Senior Tax Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable tax professional to join our team in preparing and reviewing client tax returns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax forms and their implications, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
The role involves managing the entire tax preparation process, from document collection to client signatures, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. This includes analyzing year-over-year data to identify missing information or documents, and collaborating closely with owners to ensure timely and precise completion of returns.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review client tax returns accurately and efficiently.
- Manage the tax preparation process from start to finish.
- Identify and address any issues or discrepancies in client tax returns.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- IRS Enrolled Agent status or pursuing it.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience preparing U.S. individual tax returns.
- Proficiency in navigating tax software and confidently handling tax-related documents.
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
