About the Role

This senior professional will oversee tax advisory engagements, manage delivery of tax opinions, and lead teams in compliance and litigation proceedings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage all tax advisory engagements, including short notes and email responses on day-to-day clients' tax matters.
  • Ensure timely filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, and other tax filings.
  • Manage tax assessment and litigation proceedings before tax authorities and higher appellate forums.
  • Develop and mentor team members for their professional growth and create a stronger bench.
  • Deliver tax technology assets through licensing and internal managed services.
  • Lead end-to-end tax operate engagements as SPOC (Single Point of Contact).
  • Internal client codes management from time logging, invoicing, and collections perspectives.
  • Drive business development, identify new opportunities, and mine existing ones.
  • Contribute to firm eminence programs, events, written or speaking contributions, and conferences.
  • Provide thought leadership and tax technical papers for firm-wide Go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with other tax services lines and business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified Accountant - 8-10 years' experience in direct taxation.
  • Preferred background from Big 4 firms.
  • Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Conceptual clarity and innovative thinking.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Time and cost management skills.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities.
