Oracle Functional Consultant Job Description

The primary responsibility of an Oracle Functional Consultant is to implement and configure Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR solutions for clients. This involves analyzing business requirements, designing and developing customizations, and providing training and support to end-users.

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Oracle Fusion HCM platform, including its various modules and features. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Core HR Implementation: The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing and configuring Core HR solutions, including setting up users, roles, and permissions.
  • Security Configuration: Strong knowledge of security configuration is essential, including role-based and data security.
  • Geographies and Address Validation: The consultant should have experience in configuring geographies and address validation rules.
  • Document Types and Number Generation Rules: Familiarity with document types and number generation rules is required.
  • Position Management and Synchronization: Experience in position management and synchronization is necessary.
  • Grades and Grade Ladders: Knowledge of grades and grade ladders is required.
  • AOR Templates: The consultant should be familiar with AOR templates.
  • Absence Management Configuration and Troubleshooting: Experience in absence management configuration and troubleshooting is necessary.

Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Core HR support and issue resolution, as well as good knowledge of HCM data structures, business objects, and workflows. They will be able to analyze business requirements and provide effective solutions.

Additionally, the candidate will need to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees and management teams, and stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
