Job Description

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to lead our global tax compliance, planning, and strategy. This role involves ensuring the company meets its tax obligations worldwide, optimizing tax positions, and mitigating risks.

The successful candidate will oversee global tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and other indirect taxes. They will ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments, coordinate with external tax advisors and local finance teams, and monitor changes in tax laws and regulations.

This position requires a strong understanding of global tax laws, regulations, and practices, as well as proficiency in tax compliance software and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee global tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and other indirect taxes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and local finance teams.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's global tax position.
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings and incentives across different countries.
  • Advise senior management on the tax implications of business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Manage transfer pricing policies and ensure documentation is in place.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in the financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., ASC 740, IFRS).
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international tax, with a mix of public accounting and corporate tax experience.
  • Strong knowledge of global tax laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
