Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled data specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data to support informed decision-making.

This role involves searching, collecting, processing, and managing large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of image analysis techniques such as band combinations, pixel depth, and image strip artifacts removal.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Data collection and management: ensuring the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data.
  • ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.
  • GIS analysis and mapping: conducting spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development.
  • Data quality assurance: ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies.
  • Collaboration and communication: collaborating closely with stakeholders to comprehend data requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with image analysis: familiarity with image processing techniques.
  • Knowledge of various ESRI products - ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve issues proactively and provide recommendations to business partners, peers, and various levels of management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge on imagery-based data creation on Esri platform.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional planning, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills.
