Job Title: Oracle VBCS Specialist">

We are seeking an experienced specialist in Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern web and mobile applications using VBCS with integrations to Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in software development and integration.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Oracle JET.
  • Proficiency in Oracle HCM Redwood pages and REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

As a VBCS specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing modern web and mobile applications using VBCS.
  • Integrating VBCS applications with Oracle HCM via REST APIs.
  • Deploying and managing VBCS applications using CI/CD tools and Git repositories.
  • Collaborating with HR and business teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable configurations and extensions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Oracle VBCS and Oracle HCM.
  • Experience in software development and integration.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Oracle JET.
  • Understanding of cloud-based technologies and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Develop and maintain HCM Extracts, BI Publisher Reports, and Fast Formulas.
  • Build and integrate HCM REST and SOAP web services for third-party systems.
  • Manage security profiles, roles, data access and workflow approvals in HCM.
  • Perform data loading and mass updates using HDL (HCM Data Loader), and Spreadsheet Loaders.
  • Collaborate with HR and business teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable configurations and extensions.
  • Strong experience in developing/supporting HCM Extracts.
  • Strong experience on Fast Formulas.
  • Hands on experience in developing BI Publisher Reports and OTBI.
  • Good understanding on HCM Data Loader and HSDL.
  • Experienced in implementing User defined Tables and lookups and Value sets.
  • Some experience on extracting the data using APIs.
