Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect. In this role, you will design and propose cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators, virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering and 7+ years of experience in presales roles, specifically in Cloud & Virtualization domains. You will be responsible for proactively engaging with customers and prospects to demonstrate our solutions and effectively communicate key differentiators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and propose cloud architecture using open-source cloud orchestrators, virtualization, and automation technology.
  • Proactively engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate our solutions and effectively communicate key differentiators.
  • Assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing.
  • Connect technical requirements with business needs.
  • Respond to RFIs or RFPs, highlighting the Product's unique features.
  • Prepare and deliver solution presentations or technical proposals that differentiate us from competitors.
  • Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof Of Concepts.
  • Foster relationships, enable, and collaborate with partners to discover and capitalize on opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience implementing cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, as well as working knowledge of leading private cloud platforms like VCloud, OpenStack, or CloudStack.
  • Comprehensive understanding of virtualization concepts for leading hypervisors (ESXi/KVM).
  • Strong grasp of container technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
  • Understanding of other enterprise products and solutions, such as storage, security, and compute solutions.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and BoQs.
  • Superior presentation skills and composure when interacting with technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment and manage Proof Of Concept activities for customers in the Cloud Domain.
  • Take ownership of projects and strategic initiatives, striving for standardization and simplification throughout all aspects of work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
