Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Create scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on cloud platforms.
  • Build and Maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipelines: Use tools to automate testing, building, and deployment of software.
  • Drive Automation in Cloud Provisioning and Management: Leverage Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Deploy and Manage Containerized Applications: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage containerized applications.
  • Monitor System Performance: Troubleshoot production issues, ensure high availability, and reliability by monitoring system performance.
  • Implement DevSecOps Practices: Ensure secure infrastructure and deployments by implementing DevSecOps practices.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release processes and improve efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, RDS – Aurora MySQL preferred, VMs, Storage Accounts, App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Networking, RBAC, etc.
  • Infrastructure as Code Skills: Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates/Bicep, or Ansible.
  • CI/CD Workflow Design: Proficiency in designing and managing CI/CD workflows with Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
  • Container Orchestration: Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or ECS.
  • Scripting Skills: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell.
  • Monitoring and Logging Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Azure Monitor, or ELK Stack.
