Job Description:

Mercer Consulting (India) Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Associate - Compensation Consulting professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading projects and delivering rewards benchmarking and design related engagements for clients in the identified industry or set of industries.

Purpose of the Role:

The role will focus on driving Mercer's footprint in the industry, creating content, and sharing point of view with clients, thereby establishing the individual as a go-to-person for the said industry, its construct, roles, and rewards focus areas.

Deliverables:

  • Develop a deep understanding of rewards trends in specific industries.
  • Establish self as a go-to person for rewards in the specific industry.
  • Form a point of view on rewards practices to provide appropriate consulting advice to clients.
  • Win projects with new clients, and achieve greater footprint in the industry by increasing the number of paid participants in Industry Total Remuneration survey.
  • Develop and implement a business development strategy to identify opportunities for building a long-term, sustainable relationship with clients.
  • Promote Mercer's research and services to clients and prospects.
  • Monitor revenue and sales pipeline versus budgets on a regular basis and provide guidance to the team accordingly.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • An MBA/Post Graduation in Human Resources or equivalent from a premier B-school.
  • 6-8 years of experience post-qualification in the compensation domain, preferably in consulting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A dynamic, motivated, flexible, and result-oriented personality with the ability to perform under pressure.
