Job Title: Global Tax Manager

Experience: 10+ years

The role of a Global Tax Manager involves overseeing the company's global tax compliance, planning, and strategy. This includes ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments, coordinating with external tax advisors and local finance teams to manage compliance in various jurisdictions, and monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance:
    • Oversee global tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and other indirect taxes.
    • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
  • Tax Planning & Strategy:
    • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's global tax position.
    • Identify opportunities for tax savings and incentives across different countries.
  • Tax Accounting & Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in the financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., ASC 740, IFRS).
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate tax risks through robust controls and processes.
    • Manage tax audits and disputes with tax authorities, ensuring favorable outcomes.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of tax professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:

  • CA/CS/CMA/ACCA/CFA/CPA, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international tax, with a mix of public accounting and corporate tax experience.
  • Strong knowledge of global tax laws, regulations, and practices.
