Job Title: MuleSoft API Test Specialist

 

The primary goal of this role is to design and execute comprehensive test strategies for MuleSoft APIs, ensuring seamless integration, reliability, and defect-free performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business analysts, to identify and prioritize API testing requirements.
  • Develop detailed test plans and scenarios for MuleSoft APIs, leveraging expertise in API testing tools and methodologies.
  • Design and develop automated API test scripts using tools like ReadyAPI, Postman, or SoapUI.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for MuleSoft APIs, validating RESTful and SOAP-based APIs.
  • Perform data validation using complex SQL queries, ensuring accuracy and precision in backend data verification.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, driving team collaboration and efficient project delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in API testing, with 3+ years focused on MuleSoft API testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs, as well as proficiency in API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, ReadyAPI).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and a strong understanding of HTTP, JSON, XML, OAuth2, JWT, and API security standards.
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Certified Integration/Platform Specialist certification.
  • ISTQB Certification.
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines, API automation, and performance/load testing using JMeter or ReadyAPI.
