About the Role:
This is a highly skilled sales position requiring experience in the Investment Fund industry. The role involves selling Fund Administration Services to Fund Managers.
You will be responsible for increasing overall sales and undertaking sales and marketing activities to generate business and retain clients and intermediaries for Fund Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Closing sales in accordance with targets as outlined in personal targets/KPIs.
- Developing and maintaining ambitious sales plans for the country in line with the regional plan for Fund Services.
- Applying targeted sales approaches, actively seeking and recognizing sales opportunities, identifying needs, creating interest, and dealing with common objections.
- Further developing and leveraging existing relationships, actively prospecting new customers and intermediaries (Client Relationship Management).
- Leading, coordinating, and conducting marketing activities, maintaining an active and current pipeline of prospects at all times.
- Collaborating with local and international colleagues, cross-selling other Fund products.
- Perfecting the pitch verbally and visually in a tailor-made proposal.
- Representing the company to the highest standard at all times.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive growth strategies regarding Fund Administration.
- Creating, adapting, and executing growth strategies to achieve key business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree with over 7 years' experience in the investment fund industry and a relevant network.
- Fair knowledge regarding the country's Fund industry regulations.
- Knowledge regarding NAV calculations, Fund Accountability, Capital Calls, the tax fund structure, and Audit processes.
- Extensive knowledge of the industry, its participants, and the full suite of services offered by Fund Services.
- Strong commercial drive and a proven ability to penetrate the required market and ensure closure of sales.
- Takes initiative, positive, proactive, dedicated, focused, and revenue- and target-driven.
- Exhibits strong leadership, social & interpersonal skills, a positive can-do attitude, and creativity.
- Excellent client-facing skills, well-developed spoken and written communication skills, and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences.
- Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented with good decision-making and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt and work under pressure in a smaller, dynamic local team environment.
