Role of a Laboratory Coordinator

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory data by approving new lab parameters, units, and reference ranges.

As a Laboratory Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on laboratory data, reviewing local and central laboratory reference range documents, creating lab IDs and entering ranges and units for each analyst into the EDC system, identifying and resolving discrepancies in local laboratory reference ranges, and communicating day-to-day issues and risks regarding the area of work.

Requirements:
  • A Master's degree or equivalent experience in life science, computer science, or business administration is required.
  • At least 2-4 years of related experience in clinical data management or laboratory coordination is essential.
  • A strong understanding of laboratory data and clinical reference ranges is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and International laboratory unit standards is also required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with electronic data capture systems and data management plans is preferred.
  • An understanding of Electronic Health Record Systems and Laboratory Certification is also advantageous.
