Lead Game Visualizer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 2D Game Artist to elevate our artistic vision and drive the quality of our game art.

  • Collaborate with talented teams to produce captivating concepts, digital game assets, environments, and gameplay materials.
  • Establish a consistent visual style across projects, ensuring alignment with the overall artistic direction.
  • Create efficient 2D art pipelines for smooth content updates and improvements.
  • Enhance visual quality and improve the gameplay experience by leveraging expertise in UI art creation and marketing materials.
  • Guide junior artists, sharing expertise in digital art techniques to foster team growth and creativity.
  • Present design options to stakeholders, ensuring their vision is captured while maintaining artistic integrity.
  • Implement standardized file naming conventions for ease of asset retrieval.
  • Regularly back up approved files and assets to secure locations.

Qualifications:

  • BA in Art Media, Graphic Design, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Expertise in creating isometric rendering for game assets, background rendering, UI, and concept art.
  • 8+ years in mobile or video game development studios, delivering high-quality art.
  • Ability to adjust artistic style and techniques for mobile game demands.
  • Deep understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, perspective, UX, and UI principles.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within tight deadlines.
  • Strong design sensibilities with keen attention to detail and visual storytelling.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the game industry, awareness of current market trends, and styles.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other relevant art tools.
Additional Skills:
  • Familiarity with Unity3D's asset integration pipeline.
  • Skills in animation or visual effects using Spine or similar software.
