Enterprise Data Governance Architect

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled data governance architect to lead data governance initiatives and shape the future of analytics and AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in defining and leading enterprise-wide data governance strategies, design, and architecture.

  • Develop and implement data governance strategies and policies that ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Design and implement data catalogs, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories to support business intelligence and decision-making.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of data governance principles, experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, and Informatica EDC/AXON, and proficiency in working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). They will also have excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing architectural patterns for data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data security, and master data management across various data platforms. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement data governance frameworks and metadata models to support business operations.
  • Establish data governance policies, procedures, and standards for data management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, architecture techniques, and methodologies.
  • 7+ years of experience in data governance architecture and implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/Java for integration and automation.
  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop/Spark, etc.) and data visualization and BI tools.
