About this opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Finite Element Analysis Engineer to support the design and development of off-highway construction equipment.

Job Summary:

This role involves providing FEA engineering expertise to optimize designs and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASME, API, EN, and BS.

  • Perform finite element analysis of structural systems and components using ANSYS Workbench and Classic.
  • Coordinate with design engineers to ensure designs meet performance requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve queries and reviews.
  • Familiar with hand calculations, weld calculations, material properties, and other related skills.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finite element analysis, experience with ANSYS Workbench and Classic, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex finite element analyses to evaluate structural integrity

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FEA results into design decisions

• Develop and maintain accurate documentation of analysis methodologies and results

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in finite element analysis techniques

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• 3+ years of experience in finite element analysis

• Proficiency in ANSYS Workbench and Classic

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
