Accounting Support Specialist

Job Description:
  • Assist in day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support in preparing and verifying financial statements, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure timely closure of month-end and year-end activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in generating financial reports and summaries, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  2. Support in responding to financial inquiries and providing basic accounting support.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or internship in accounting or finance-related roles.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and principles.
  • Knowledge of additional accounting software or ERP systems.
