Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Specialist to join our team. As an SQA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify, document, and report defects using an issue tracking system.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in manual and automation testing, ideally more than 3 years in a similar QA role.
  • Experience with testing web and mobile applications.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools and basic SQL queries to validate database and data consistency.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
  • Basic understanding of performance and security testing.
