Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care services to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school and be licensed to practice in their state. They will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Care: Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity, evaluate eye health, and detect any signs of eye diseases or abnormalities.
  • Prescription of Corrective Lenses: Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses to correct refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment of Eye Conditions: Diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as dry eye syndrome, conjunctivitis (pink eye), glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients about proper eye care, visual hygiene, and preventive measures to maintain good eye health.
Requirements:
  • Education: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
  • Licensure: Licensed to practice optometry in the state where the position is located.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
