Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Transformation Specialist to join our team in an exciting migration project. As part of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system modernization, you will be responsible for extracting and transforming data from our existing Microsoft Dynamics AX environment to prepare it for migration to a new ERP system.

About the Role

This critical position requires a professional with excellent SQL knowledge to develop and execute SQL queries/Scripts to extract data accurately and consistently. You will transform and cleanse extracted data to meet the format and quality standards required for the new ERP system, implementing data mapping and conversion rules as per the project specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Data Extraction: Extract relevant data from Microsoft Dynamics AX databases using SQL queries/Scripts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.
  • Data Transformation: Transform and cleanse extracted data to meet the new ERP system's requirements, implementing data mapping and conversion rules as necessary.
  • Data Validation: Validate and check the extracted data to ensure it meets the migration criteria, identifying and rectifying any inconsistencies or anomalies that may arise during the extraction process.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the data transformation processes, including SQL scripts, data mapping, and any data-related issues encountered.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • Knowledge of migration processes into Oracle Fusion is advantageous.
