Inviting applications for the role of Microsoft Dynamics AX (DAX) Principal Consultant
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an AX 2012 R2/R3 Data Extraction Specialist with excellent SQL knowledge. This role is critical in the context of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system migration project, where you will be responsible for extracting and transforming data from our existing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2/R3 environment to prepare it for migration to a new ERP system. Your primary focus will be on utilizing DAX tools and SQL queries to extract and cleanse data effectively in the format of the targeted ERP system.
Responsibilities
. Data Extraction: Develop and execute SQL queries/ Scripts to extract data from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2/R3 databases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity. Identify and select relevant data sets for migration based on project requirements and mapping.
. Data Transformation: Transform and cleanse extracted data to meet the format and quality standards required for the new ERP system. Implement data mapping and conversion rules as per the project%27s specifications.
. Data Validation: Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure that the extracted data meets the migration criteria. Identify and rectify any data inconsistencies or anomalies that may arise during the extraction process.
. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the data extraction and transformation processes, including SQL scripts, data mapping, and any data-related issues encountered. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ERP implementation specialists, business analysts, and IT professionals, to understand the migration requirements and coordinate data extraction efforts.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
. Bachelor&rsquos degree in Information and Communication Technology or similar
. Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2/R3.
. Knowledge of migration processes into Oracle Fusion is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
. Excellent proficiency in SQL, including experience in writing complex SQL queries.
. High level knowledge on ERP process in the Supply Chain, Finance, CRM modules.
. Strong understanding of data extraction and transformation techniques.
. Familiarity with data migration best practices.
. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
