Job Title: Tosca Automation Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled automation professional to join our team in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality of complex enterprise applications by integrating test automation into the CI/CD pipeline and collaborating with QA, development, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Automated Test Scripts: Utilize Tosca Commander to design and develop automated test scripts.
  • Create and Manage Reusable Test Modules: Create and manage reusable test modules and libraries to enhance efficiency.
  • Integrate Tests into CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate Tosca tests into CI/CD pipelines and Test Management Tool to streamline testing processes.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers: Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Implement and Maintain Test Data Management: Implement and maintain test data management using Tosca TDM or external tools to ensure accurate test results.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of failed tests and report bugs in defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, etc.).
  • Execute Regression Testing: Execute regression, smoke, and sanity testing as part of agile sprints to ensure seamless application performance.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement of test strategies, standards, and tools to stay ahead of industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Test Automation Experience: 5+ years of experience in test automation using Tricentis Tosca.
  • Tosca Expertise: Hands-on expertise in Tosca modules, test cases, requirements, test sheets, execution lists, Tosca commander.
  • API and Web UI Testing: Good understanding of API testing, web UI testing, and database testing using Tosca.
  • Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and their application in software development.
  • CI/CD Tools: Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex testing issues.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and documentation abilities for effective cross-team collaboration.
