Job Description:

  • We handle incoming calls and faxes efficiently, identifying the best way to assist.
  • We conduct outbound calls to verify insurance coverage for prescribed therapies and document results in the appropriate tracking system.
  • We document all calls and escalate issues per established procedures.
  • We process patient applications to determine eligibility based on program specifications, documenting results and managing follow-ups as needed.
  • We make follow-up calls and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare providers.
  • We maintain a professional demeanor, using clear and concise language in both verbal and written communication.
  • We coordinate the order and transfer of prescriptions to specialty pharmacies based on urgency.
  • We stay informed about available insurance options and educate patients accordingly.
  • We perform other duties assigned by management.
