HVAC System Designer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced HVAC System Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and optimizing HVAC systems for various projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Create comprehensive HVAC designs, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems.
    • Analyze heat loads, cooling loads, and airflow requirements using specialized software.
    • Select and size HVAC equipment based on project specifications.
    • Design ductwork, piping layouts, and control systems for efficient system operation.
    • Evaluate designs against industry standards, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local building codes.
    • Develop energy-efficient solutions that balance cost and sustainability.
    • Collaborate with MEP engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless system integration.
    • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation for project approvals.
    • Support project execution by providing technical guidance during installation and commissioning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, Trace 700, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier E-20).
  • Detailed knowledge of duct and pipe sizing, psychrometrics, and refrigeration cycles.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and other HVAC standards.
  • Experience in energy modeling and sustainable HVAC system design.
  • Ability to troubleshoot HVAC system performance issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in HVAC design (ASHRAE, LEED AP, or similar).
  • Experience working on international projects (Gulf region, US, UK, etc.).
  • Knowledge of CFD analysis, thermal modeling, and energy simulation tools.
