Job Title: HVAC Systems Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Systems Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and working drawings for commercial and light industrial buildings.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate working drawings that meet project standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues on site in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain ISO documentation and drawing logs to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Support quantity take-offs and drawing approvals to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor productivity and contribute to QA/QC processes to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Identify additional work and notify the Project Manager to ensure smooth project progression.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, including chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, and smoke control.
  • Familiarity with GCC codes and Civil Defence requirements.
  • Proficiency in HVAC calculations and software, such as HAP.
  • Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of related MEP systems.

Requirements:

  • B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • HVAC training certification is preferred but not required.
