Lead Foresight Strategist

The position seeks a distinguished academic leader to serve as the Lead Foresight Strategist for Innovation & Foresight Studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and direct the Future Studies Center to drive innovative thinking and strategic planning across the institution.
  • Conduct annual foresight reports on global trends in technology, geopolitics, and sustainability, providing actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Develop and teach graduate-level courses in futures thinking, policy foresight, and scenario planning, equipping students with essential skills for navigating complex challenges.
  • Collaborate with governments, think tanks, and corporations on strategic foresight projects, fostering partnerships that advance innovation and growth.
  • Mentor doctoral students and research fellows in foresight studies, nurturing the next generation of thought leaders.
  • Represent the institution at international foresight and innovation forums, showcasing expertise and contributing to global dialogue.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Futures Studies, Innovation Policy, Strategic Management, or related field, with a strong publication record.
  • Internationally recognized scholar with a proven track record of advancing knowledge in the field of innovation and foresight.
  • Proven experience in policy advisory, foresight consulting, or global think tanks, demonstrating expertise in driving strategic change.
  • Strong global academic and industry networks, facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange.
