Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support a critical network migration and deployment project.

The role involves hands-on administration of Cisco switches, configuration of wireless access points, troubleshooting, and providing on-site/remote technical support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Cisco switch administration with expertise in BGP, routing, and switching. They will also support network deployments and migration activities across designated sites, configure and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless Access Points and Controllers, and read and interpret cable/port matrix (Excel-based) and provide on-site technical support as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Cisco Switch Administration: The candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and managing Cisco switches, with expertise in BGP, routing, and switching.
  • Support Network Deployments: The candidate will assist in the deployment of networks across designated sites, ensuring smooth migration activities.
  • Configure and Troubleshoot Wireless Access Points: The candidate will have experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Wireless Access Points and Controllers.
  • Provide On-Site Technical Support: The candidate will provide technical support on-site and remotely, reading and interpreting cable/port matrix (Excel-based).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of Experience: The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Strong Hands-On Expertise: The candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in Cisco switches, routing (BGP), and switching.
  • Experience in Network Deployment: The candidate must have experience in network deployment and migration projects.
  • Working Knowledge of Wireless APs: The candidate must have working knowledge of Cisco Wireless APs and Controllers.
  • Proficiency in Excel: The candidate must be proficient in Excel-based port/cable matrix analysis.
  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: The candidate must have strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good Communication Skills: The candidate must have good communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to Work Night Shifts: The candidate must be willing to work night shifts if required.
